Try to join Brattleboro Vermont (spelled out) Facebook page for
local tips on local dining and events or places to ski, swim,
hike, fish, bike, tube, horseback ride or whatever you’re into.
Norm’s Marina at 1347 Brattleboro Rd in Hinsdale, New Hampshire is
a 15 minute drive to the Connecticut River where you can rent a
slip for your boat for the season and rent canoes or kayaks
between mid-May to mid-October.
Vermont Marketplace in Brattleboro at exit 1 is a great place to
find local goods and crafts, a bar, live music, a food court, and
other vendors and services.
If you’re visiting around Halloween, don’t miss Gaines Farm of
Guilford haunted maze or haunted hayrides.
During the warm months of summer, a 5 minute drive to 809 Guilford
Center Road will take you to Blueberry Haus which is a great place
to pick your own blueberries and to get delicious ice cream.
For those who have celiac or are gluten sensitive, check out the
local manufacturer, Against the Grain, which has the best pesto,
cheese, gluten-free pizza in the world! They have a tiny
gluten-free bake shop of fresh-as-can-be delicious breads,
